Ja Morant scored 17 points coming off the bench, while Jaren Jackson Jr. had a season-high 37 points

Memphis Grizzlies beat Houston Rockets 130-125 in a highly anticipated game on Wednesday night.

All eyes were on Ja Morant as he made his first NBA start since his infamous eight-game suspension back in March 4.

Morant didn’t disappoint as he managed to bag 17 points and 4 rebounds, coming on from the bench. He ended up playing 24 minutes overall

Jaren Jackson Jr. was the highest-scoring Grizzlies’ player as the 23-year old achieved a season-high with 37 points and 10 rebounds. Desmond Bane had 20 points, while Tyus Jones added another 14. They both had seven assists.

Jalen Green scored 32 points for the Rockets, while Kenyon Martin Jr. had 31. Alperen Sengun added another 25 for Houston. Kevin Porter reached his second career triple-double, his first of the season, as the Houston player came home with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

With this victory Memphis Grizzlies clinch the Southwest Division title for a second consecutive year.
