Luke Kennard scored ten 3-pointers as he matched his career-high of 30 points; Desmond Bane added another 25.
Ja Morant, in his second game after his infamous eight-game suspension, scored 18 points and had eight assists. Morant, just like in the previous match, came on as a substitute with 5:08 remaining in the first quarter.
Jaren Jackson Jr. also had 18 points to his name, as well as seven rebounds and two blocks for the Memphis team, who achieved franchise-best 25 3-pointers and had the second highest scoring in their history.
With this result the Grizzlies extend their winning streak to 11 games, only three behind record holders in the Western Conference Idle Denver.
For Houston Tari Eason scored 21 points, while Kevin Porter Jr. and Jabari Smith Jr. both had 20 to their names.
