Manchester City manager claimed that he wants his players to be relaxed.

The Sky Blues head coach, Pep Guardiola, says his team must focus on tactics, not emotions, in the upcoming Premier League derby with the Red Devils on Sunday.

Guardiola’s side, who triumphed 3-0 at Old Trafford, are 15 points above Manchester United in the EPL.

Both teams are in great form, with 2nd-place City undefeated in 18 matches and Man United being defeated only 1 time since the beginning of the year.

“What I learn from coaching in these types of matches is to be calmer, relax, don’t talk about many things,” the Sky Blues boss admitted.

“Just concentrate on tactics and what you can do on the pitch to triumph, not about emotions – because emotions will be a factor, without a doubt.”

This will be the 1st derby. Sir Jim Ratcliffe became co-owner of the Red Devils and claimed that he aims to knock the Sky Blues “off their perch” within 3 seasons.

Guardiola’s side won 5 of the last 6 titles in the league.
