Erling responded to the chants of Keane in the Manchester derby win.

Erling Haaland wasn’t impressed by the chants of ‘Keano’ from the Red Devils supporters during his team’s 3-0 triumph at Old Trafford today.

Haaland played fantastic and netted 2 goals before assisting Phil Foden for the classical victory for the Sky Blues in the derby. After that victory, Guardiola’s side is in 3rd place in the Premier League, only 2 points behind the leader Tottenham.

Manchester United fans had tried to get under the skin of Haaland by chanting the name of ex-team captain Roy Keane before the Norway international converted a penalty for his side.

The chants are part of the history of his father, with Keane while were both playing in the Manchester derby on opposite sides.

“Fans were singing to me ‘Keano,’ I don’t understand it, but that’s the situation,” Erling admitted after his team’s victory. “I used it as motivation. I made sure that they will leave the stadium defeated.”
