Manchester City won the highly-anticipated derby against Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford. The Citizens were too good for the Red Devils again as Erling Haaland scored two and added an assist for the third goal of his team.
Right in the middle of the first half Hojlund held up Rodri in the penalty area, then Paul Tierney went to check the situation at the VAR monitor and pointed to the penalty spot. Erling Haaland took the penalty and made no mistake and made 0:1.
Four minutes into the second half, Haaland was on target again and City took a 2-0 lead. The Norwegian headed in Bernardo Silva’s soft cross from the left side, leaving Onana no chance to save as he did right before the break from a similar situation.
Pure passion! 👊

Ten minutes before the end of regular time Phil Foden also scored. The English winger received the ball right at the goal line from Haaland and sent it into the net for 3-0.
With the win, City is staying third with 24 points, equal with Tottenham and just two away from league leader Tottenham. United stays eight with 15 points.
