Rasmus Hojlund has expressed his delight after finally netting his first Premier League goal for Manchester United in an emphatic 3-2 win over Aston Villa.
It would prove to be the winner in a stellar performance at Old Trafford as the host came back from 2-0 down.
Afterwards, the 20-year-old shared his enthusiasm about his achievement.
“Of course, there is a relief to score my first Premier League goal, but it isn’t like I haven’t scored goals. I’ve scored five in the Champions League.” he said.
“So, I was very happy and you can see the relief in my celebration, but also the feeling of being the match winner and getting the three points at home against a good opponent. I’m a lucky and happy man.”
The win was a much welcomed sight at Old Trafford as it eased off the pressure of manager Erik ten Hag’s shoulders.
