Giannis Antetokounmpo provided yet another great performance in the season, pushing the Milwaukee Bucks to 117-104 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night.
Facing the MVP candidate Joel Embiid, the 28-year-old had a double-double of 33 points and 14 rebounds with 6 assists.
His teammate Jrue Holiday spoke about him after the game, joining in the MVP conversation. “Antetokounmpo has been MVP too much. He’s been doing this too much, I feel like people get bored of it. It’s kind of like the LeBron James effect. LeBron has done it so many times that people think that it’s normal now. And it’s not. But Giannis makes it look easy.”
“The first couple years that he got it, it’s like, wow, nobody can do that, and it’s still, to this day, nobody can do what he does. He’s on the No. 1 team, not just in the East, but in the league”, the 32-year-old guard said on the Greek Freak.
