The two teams fought for the 1st place in the Serie A.

Napoli and Inter finished without a winner, 1-1 at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the fight for the 1st place in Serie A as the draw meant that the Milano side remained at the top with 1 more point than the team from Naples and 3 more than Atalanta that failed to beat at home Venezia earlier today.

The biggest moment in the 1st half came when Federico Dimarco scored a fantastic goal after a free kick to give his side the lead in the derby in the 22nd minute. Until the end of the 1st half, the home side dominated but failed to score.

At the beginning of the 2nd half, Dimarco and Hakan Calhanoglu were replaced because of injuries in the 51st minute, and from this moment forward, Napoli took full control of the match.

Antonio Conte’s side tried minute after minute with attacks to tie the result, but nothing happened until near the end of the regular time when the substitute, Philip Billing, scored. Billing secured the rebound and scored into the bottom right corner to even the result.

In the added time, Napoli even had a chance to make a complete comeback, but Josep Martinez saved Cyril Ngonge’s shot, and the derby finished without a winner.
