The 24-year-old served a long 25-game suspension for social media misconduct last season.
It is a huge boost for Memphis, which is in dire need of of its superstar, but they could also expect a significant rise in tickets sale.
The Grizzlies have notched only a single home game win and during Morant’s suspension there was an evident lack of interest from the fans.
The point guard already made the headlines on Tuesday night, when he inspired his team to a victory over New Orleans with superb 34 points.
The Grizzlies’ president reminded fans on social media after the team rallied from 24 points down that tickets were available for Thursday night’s game.
The Grizzlies are aiming for a fourth consecutive playoff berth and Morant’s return is a huge boost for their aspirations.
