Jake Paul will box again almost 1 year after he sustained a broken jaw, as he has agreed to a bout near the end of the year in Dubai.
Jake (12-2, 7 KOs) will headline an event on Christmas Eve, Most Valuable Promotions revealed today. His opponent is yet to be revealed.
It will be Jake’s 1st appearance since Anthony Joshua stopped him in the 6th round of their heavyweight match on December 19th in Miami. He sustained fractures to his jaw that required multiple procedures the same month and in February.
“I have spent years proving everyone wrong, taking risks and trying to face the best in the industry,” Paul shared. “Nothing that happened in my boxing matches until now has changed my self-belief or what I’m trying to achieve. I’m ready, and on Christmas Eve I’m returning for a match in Dubai to begin the next chapter of my journey.
“We have a lot of different names for my next opponent, and we will see who will sign a deal.”
Jake, who is 29 years old, was cleared to resume full contact at the beginning of October.
