The Miami Heat had an NBA playoff record for the fewest free throw attempts in a match, as they shot from the foul line just 2 times in the defeat against the Denver Nuggets 104-93 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
After the match, Miami superstar Jimmy Butler said he and his teammates must be more aggressive in the next game. The Heat player also answered why the franchise had so many problems with the offense.
“More likely because we shot a lot of jump shots, as I did it the most, instead of attacking the rim,” Jimmy shared after notching only 13 points. “Scoring layups, getting to the free throw line. When you look at it during the match, these shots will help you to win games.”
