Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, will most likely not give interviews for BBC. The German coach intends to show solidarity with the dismissal of Gary Lineker, who was removed from Match Of The Day show yesterday for his comments against the British government.
Lineker will no longer host the iconic show and immediately afterwards, commentators Ian Wright and Alan Shearer also announced that they would not be taking part in Saturday’s edition of the program.
In effect, Klopp will be the first to speak after a Premier League clash in front of the cameras. The Reds visit Bournemouth in Saturday’s early Premier League clash.
At the same time, it is clear that Saturday’s edition of Match of the Day will be held without presenters and guests, and only reports from matches in the Premier League will be shown.
