“I just want the best possibility to get to the best organization,” the Norris Trophy champ shared after winning the Golden Puck as Sweden’s best hockey player.
Erik wants to leave San Jose to join a franchise that will compete for the Stanley Cup and is working with the Sharks to get the best possible deal for both sides.
Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby and veteran defenceman Kris Letang shared a few days ago that they would be very happy if Karlsson becomes a Penguins player.
Pittsburgh president Kyle Dubas also claimed he had talks with San Jose about a potential deal involving Erik.
