Jurgen Klopp claimed that the Reds may lose his Brazilian goalkeeper to injury ahead of a very tide schedule of games after yesterday’s 1-1 draw against the Sky Blues at Etihad.
Alisson received treatment on the pitch during the match between the Premier League’s title contenders but remained in the game until the end, finishing with 4 saves as his team earned a point with a goal in the last minutes.
Trent Alexander-Arnold secured Liverpool’s point with a fantastic shot to equalize the result. Diogo Jota also suffered an injury at the beginning of the 2nd half, and Klopp told the media that his club must wait to know how serious his players’ problems are.
“It appears that we’ve lost Becker with a muscle injury and Diogo Jota.
“And that is huge. I don’t know how many matches we will play [until Boxing Day], maybe 10-15.
