Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp spoke after his side’s historic 7-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League derby.
“We were a bit shaky in the first half but finished it off in a great way with an impressive goal and a great finish from Cody Gakpo. In the second half, we showed what we are capable of, and the final was quite good,” said Klopp after the match.
“It’s really important that we got that result and that all the boys came in and scored. Roberto Firmino came on and scored, Diogo Jota could have scored as well, but everyone performed at a great level. It was unique. Everyone should feel what we have achieved today. Teams need to know we’re around. This is Liverpool as it should be from here on,” Klopp told Sky Sport.
