Jurgen Klopp has reached his 400th match as Liverpool manager as The Reds beat Napoli in their final Champions League’s group stage match on Tuesday night.
The 55-year-old charismatic German became the fourth Liverpool manager to complete 400 matches in all competitions after Bob Paisley – 535, Tom Watson – 742, and Bill Shankly – 783.
The crowd favorite Klopp has won 244 games with the Merseysiders out of his 400 games in charge.
He became only the seventh manager to take charge of 100-plus Champions League games with only Spaniard Pep Guardiola (61) achieving more victories from his first 100 matches in charge in the tournament than Klopp (58).
