Klopp wants Saudi transfer window to end earlier

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp claimed that football’s governing bodies must act now and “find solutions” for the Saudi Arabian transfer window prolonging.

In the best 5 leagues in Europa, the summer transfer window ends on September 1^st, while teams from Saudi Arabia can ink players until September 20^th.

The Reds lost 3 players to Saudi Arabian clubs during this summer –  Roberto Firmino, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho as Firmino left as a free agent. At the same time, for the other 2, the Premier League team received much money.

Reporters asked the Reds boss what the Saudi Arabian clubs influence, and he shared that, at the moment, it’s enormous.

“The distressing thing is that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia is open 3 weeks longer. If I’m not mistaken, this can be awful for European clubs after September 1^st.
