Anze Kopitar scored twice, including the game-winner, as the Los Angeles Kings rallied to defeat the Philadelphia Flyers 5-4 on Sunday night, earning their seventh consecutive home victory. Adrian Kempe contributed a goal and an assist, while Kevin Fiala and Warren Foegele also found the net for the Kings.

Trailing 4-2 midway through the second period, the Kings mounted a comeback, fueled by Foegele’s rebound goal on a breakaway with just under five minutes left in the frame, cutting the deficit to 4-3. David Rittich made 17 saves for Los Angeles, who swept their back-to-back games after an overtime win against Edmonton on Saturday.
In the third period, Kopitar tied the game at 4 by redirecting Quinton Byfield’s rebound. He then capitalized on Kempe’s shot during a power play at 8:55, giving the Kings their first lead of the game and ultimately securing the victory.
For the Flyers, Matvei Michkov, returning after being benched in Saturday’s game against Anaheim, had a goal and an assist. Tyson Foerster, Scott Laughton, and Joel Farabee also scored, while Aleksei Kolosov recorded 15 saves. Despite Michkov’s strong showing, Philadelphia couldn’t hold off the Kings’ late surge, falling short in a tightly contested game.
