Mateo Kovacic is set to join Manchester City after the Citizens have agreed a £30m deal with Chelsea for the Croatian international.

The 29-year-old will join the Premier League champions for initial £25m fee, with five added on later.
Kovacic spent 4 years with Chelsea since joining from Real Madrid in 2019 initially on loan, but later on a permanent 5-year deal. He has bagged 221 appearances for the London team, scoring 6 times in total.
Chelsea are continuing to sell players in order to trim down their squad for the arrival of new boss Mauricio Pochettino, as N’Golo Kante was also sold to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad.
