Jordan Eberle was leading the way for Kraken as he had a goal and two assists for Seattle’s victory versus the Vancouver Canucks 4-3 on Saturday night.
Jamie Oleksiak, Yanni Gourde and Matty Beniers also scored for Seattle, who won back-to-back games for the second time this season and Philipp Grubauer helped his team to take the win with 21 saves.
J.T. Miller, Quinn Hughes and Nils Hoglander scored for Vancouver, who are now in a two-game loosing streak. Thatcher Demko stopped 22 shots, but it wasn’t enough for Canucks to stay on top and fight for the win.
At the same time in Los Angeles Adrian Kempe had a goal and an assist, and the Kings defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-1.
Quinton Byfield, Blake Lizotte, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Kevin Fiala also scored for the Kings, who got their form back, having won consecutive home games after winning just one of their first seven.
Cam Talbot made 29 saves for the win and Jake Neighbours scored late for St. Louis, but Jordan Binnington allowed five goals on 30 shots. The Blues were rocked for the second straight game, following a 5-1 pasting by San Jose on Thursday.
