Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos will retire from football after playing for Germany at the upcoming Euro 204 in his home country, the footballer shared today.

The German (34) has triumphed with 22 trophies during his time with Los Blancos as he joined the Madrid giants in 2014 from Bayern Munich. Kroos has won 4 UCL titles and 4 La Liga trophies.

Kroos talked about retirement for the 1st time in 2022 before deciding to compete for another campaign but now he has chosen to stop playing football after the Euro.

“After 10 seasons, at the end of the campaign, this chapter comes to an end,” the German shared on social media.

Toni will have the opportunity to win his 5th Champions League title when Los Blancos face Borussia Dortmund in the final in London on June 1st.

Real Madrid also officially acknowledged Kroos’ retirement and thanked him for his time with the club and his contribution to the many titles that he has won with them.
