The Los Angeles team showed no mercy to their opponent and deservedly won

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies in a convincing fashion 134-107 in the NBA In-Season Tournament on Tuesday night.

D’Angelo Russell led the way for the Lakers with 24 points, while Anthony Davis notched 19, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks. LeBron James played for 23 minutes and bagged home 16 points and 9 rebounds.

The Los Angeles team made a substantial improvement on their shooting as they reached 58%, hitting 62,9% of their 3-pointers, scoring a franchise-tying 22 of them. This was one of their weakness in their opening 10 games of the season and they made light work of it.

“You don’t want to be that guy (struggling) when the team is shooting extremely well,” James said. “You want to chip in and be a part of it. Definitely a great shooting night for us tonight, and a good win for us.”

Santi Aldama was the highest scorer for the Grizzlies with a career-high 24 points as Memphis failed to reproduce their fine form they showed against the Clippers.

Instead they had to deal with new injury headaches as Marcus Smart and Luke Kennard limped off the court.
