Chelsea emerged victorious against Crystal Palace 2-1 in a hard-fought match on Wednesday night.

The Blues had to dig deep as a last-gap penalty with the intervention of VAR stepped in to help them secure a win.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men edged out ahead early on thanks to Mykhailo Mudryk excellent strike.
However, in the closing stages of the first half Michael Olise drew the score level and the game was blown wide open once again.
The Blues started the second half strongly, but were unable to find the back of the net. Nicolas Jackson had a goal disallowed to keep the tension going.
Late in the game the hosts had a huge call go in their favor as they were rewarded a penalty. Up stepped substitution Noni Madueke and the winger converted it with calm precision.
With the result Chelsea now have 25 point and remain 10th.
