Detroit Lions manager Dan Campbell revealed that Jahmyr Gibbs will be “fine” in the future after the Pro Bowl RB left the beginning of the week’s practice with a hamstring problem.
“I believe we are going to be fine here,” Detroit’s head coach shared on The Ticket today. “So, going forward, we’ll be good.”
Dan claimed his phone was ringing off the hook after the practice 2 days ago, with people sharing their concerns after the news broke of the running back being evaluated for a leg problem.
Detroit rookie CB Terrion Arnold was also evaluated for an upper body problem, while 2nd-round CB Ennis Rakestraw Jr. sustained an ankle problem also on Monday.
Lions were set for an intense team scrimmage today, but with the missing footballers, the head coach decided to dial back and remove the pads ahead of the weekend’s preseason match vs. the defending Super Bowl champs Chiefs.
#Lions HC Dan Campbell to 97.1 The Ticket on RB Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring): “I think we’re gonna be fine here. So, I think we’ll be good.”
Campbell also said QB Hendon Hooker (concussion) is trending the right way to play vs. KC.
