The Reds look unbeatable in the race for the title, Salah scores another goal and adds two assists

Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to eight points with a dominant performance against West Ham United, securing a 5-0 victory at the London Stadium.

Arne Slot’s side delivered another attacking masterclass, building on their 6-3 win over Tottenham the previous week. The outcome was clear from the first half as Liverpool dismantled a passive West Ham with precision and flair.

Luis Diaz opened the scoring with a powerful finish in the 30th minute after Liverpool had already created several chances. Ten minutes later, Cody Gakpo doubled the lead, capitalizing on Mohamed Salah’s dazzling footwork. Salah then added a third on the stroke of halftime with a low drive, marking his 20th goal of an outstanding season.

In the second half, Trent Alexander-Arnold extended the lead with a deflected long-range strike in the 54th minute. West Ham struggled to respond, with Mohammed Kudus hitting the woodwork twice and Luis Guilherme striking the bar late on, but they remained thoroughly outclassed.

Liverpool’s dominance was capped in the 84th minute when Salah embarked on a brilliant solo run from inside his own half, weaving past defenders before setting up Diogo Jota for a clinical finish.
