A horrifying drama has unfolded in Colombia as the parents of Liverpool star Luis Diaz were kidnapped, reports Fabrizio Romano, citing local media.
Not much is known about the incident, but some claim that motorbikes blocked the path of the footballer’s father and mother, who were then pushed into a van themselves. The incident happened in Barrancas, La Guajira.
A little later it became clear that Luis Diaz’s mother had been found, but the search for his father continues. This story calls into question the Colombian’s participation in Liverpool’s Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.
🚨 Sources close to Luis Díaz confirm that his mother Cilenis Marulanda has been rescued by the police.
