Liverpool want Slot to replace Klopp in the summer

Liverpool consider Feyenoord boss Arne Slot as a favorite to become the new head coach after the end of the campaign when Jurgen Klopp leaves as they are no longer interesting in Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim.

The team from Anfield wanted Xabi Alonso but the Spaniard revealed that he will stay in Bayer Leverkusen as he just won the Bundesliga with the team and now Feyenoord head coach is the new favorite ahead of the Seagulls’ Roberto De Zerbi to succeed the German legendary head coach.

However, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also looking for a new manager in the summer, and they are also eyeing Slot.

Ex-sporting director Michael Edwards returned to Liverpool in March as head of football operations with the task to find the new manager of the club and Arne is his favorite at the moment.
