Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente rejected the idea that his team are the favorite to triumph in tomorrow’s Euro 2024 final vs. England at the Olympiastadion in the German capital.
The manager claims his side must be even better than they were in wins against Germany and France in the ¼ final and the ½ final if they are to triumph at the tournament for a record-breaking 4th time.
“There are no favorites,” Spain’s boss shared with the media today. “It’s an even match-up, just as our previous matches at the elimination phase were. If we didn’t even better than we did at the tournament so far, we won’t have a chance of triumphing — and that’s the case if we make mistakes.”
Luis de la Fuente shared that he feels proud to play in the match for the title in Germany as that’s one of the biggest accomplishments that there is. The manager added that his players are looking forward to the final.
