Manchester United secured an incredible victory against Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield after failing to win any of their previous 9 matches at that stadium.
The Red Devils didn’t win any of their previous 8 away matches in the Premier League, but did it against the reigning champs, as that was the Reds’ 4th consecutive defeat in all tournaments and 3rd straight loss in the EPL.

Cody Gakpo again hit the post at the beginning of the 2nd half, and the Red Devils continued to have the lead until the 78th minute, when the home side finally tied the result.
Federico Chiesa found Cody Gakpo, and he scored from a close range to make it 1-1 in the 78th minute. When the Reds thought that they would make a comeback, the Red Devils secured the lead again.
In the 84th minute, Harry Maguire scored the winning goal with a header after receiving the ball from Bruno Fernandes, as that was the team’s 3rd victory in their last 4 matches in the EPL, while Liverpool lost 3rd straight game in the league and is now 4 points behind the leader Arsenal.
