Seconds after leading a winning scoring drive in OT, Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl LVIII MVP in Las Vegas.

Patrick had only 1 thing on his mind when the Chief’s defense limited San Francisco to an FG on the opening possession of the OT.
“Our mindset was: Go secure the championship right here,” Mahomes shared. “Once we received that ball — we fell short in regular time, we’re not going to repeat that. We’re going to go out there and win the match.”
And he did it.
Because after the Chiefs quarterback led his team 75 yards in 13 plays — including his running for 27 yards on 2 carries, on 4th-and-1 and 3rd-and-1 conversions during the drive – he found receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. for a 3-yard, walk-off TD with 3 seconds on the clock to secure Kansas City’s 25-22 win against San Francisco.
That was Mahome’s 3rd Super Bowl MVP award, tying him with Hall of Famer Joe Montana for 2nd most, only behind Tom Brady, who won 5.
