The Sky Blues are 1 point behind the leaders with a game in hand.

Manchester City defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 at City Ground and is only 1 point behind the leaders, Arsenal, but with 1 match in hand.

Josko Gvardiol secured the lead for Guardiola’s side in the 32nd minute after Kevin De Bruyne’s assist as before that the Trees missed a lot of chances to score.

In the 2nd half, Nottingham continued to play well but failed to convert their opportunities in front of the goal, and in the end, Erling Haaland, who replaced Jack Grealish in the 62nd minute, doubled the Sky Blues lead in the 71st minute after another assist from Kevin De Bruyne.

Nottingham can blame only themselves for the defeat as they finished with better xG than City but failed to score and remain in the 17th place only 1 point ahead of the relegation zone where at the moment is Luton.
