Liverpool dominated in the 1st half as the Reds had 15 shots compared to zero for Manchester United. Despite the dominance, Klopp’s side led with only 1 goal after the 1st 45 minutes of the match as Luis Diaz netted in the 23rd minute after Darwin Nunez’s assist.

Despite the awful 1st half, the Red Devils made a comeback in the 2nd half. Jarell Quansah made a big mistake as he gave the ball to Bruno Fernandes, and he tied it 1-1 in the 50th minute. Young Man United superstar Kobbie Mainoo scored a fantastic goal in the 67th minute to give the Red Devils the lead for the 1st time in the match.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka made a very foolish tackle inside his team’s penalty box and the Reds received a penalty as Mohamed Salah converted it to tie the result 2-2 in the 83rd minute.
In the extra time, Luis Diaz had a golden opportunity, but the Colombian shot flew high over the bar.
