Man United goes all-in for Antoine Griezmann with huge salary

Manchester United are in search of a new forward that could cix their problems in the offensive side of their game. The Red Devils are struggling this season not only because of a shaky defensive line, but also non consistent attacking play.

According to the Spanish media El Nacional, United have made contact with Antoine Griezmann’s agent to explore the possibility of signing the French forward.

The Red Devils are willing to offer Griezmann a salary that would triple his current earnings at Atlético. His release clause is believed to be around €25 million and United are willing to pay it as well in order to boost their attack.

If the deal goes through, that will mean Griezmann will bag over 36 million euros per year as now he gets 12.5 million euros in Madrid. Adding the transfer fee with a 5-year deal, United will have to pay a total of 205 million euros for the 32-year-old forward.
