Jérémy must replace Riyad Mahrez, who left the Sky Blues during the summer transfer window and will continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
Jérémy, who will be Pep Guardiola’s team’s summer 3rd inking after Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol, has netted 12 goals in 91 matches for his French side since joining Rennes from Anderlecht in 2020. He has played 14 matches for the Belgium national team as he had 2 goals and was part of the squad in the World Cup in Qatar.
After signing the 21-year-old winger, Manchester City will try to sign also a midfielder who must replace Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgium superstar of the Sky Blues undergo surgery for a hamstring injury, and we will see him back on the pitch next year.
