Man. City won against Brighton & Hove Albion at Etihad Stadium, and Guardiola’s side got back on the winning way after losing their previous 2 matches in the Premier League.

Julian Alvarez scored the 1st goal in the clash in the 7th minute after Jeremy Doku’s assist. Erling Haaland doubled the lead for the Sky Blues with his goal in the 19th minute.

The Seagulls got back in the match when Ansu Fati scored in the 73rd minute to make his team trail only 1 goal. Deep in the extra time, Manuel Akanji received his 2nd yellow card and was sent off, but Brighton got time for only 2-3 attacks with 1 player more on the pitch, and they failed to find a way to score 2nd goal and leave Manchester with a point.
