Manchester United are ready to splash out the cash for Harry Kane and offer him a contract, worth £300,000-a-week, which would make the English international the highest earner at Old Trafford.
Manager Erik Ten Hag is in urgent search for a striker over the summer and Kane seems the primary target for the Red Devils.
If that were to happen the club will also raise current star Marcus Rashford’s salary to the same figures in accordance.
That will become possible after agreement with goalkeeper David de Gea to a pay-cut, which would strip the Spaniard of the privilege of being the highest earning player at Old Trafford.
Kane contract expires at 2024 and reports suggest that Spurs owner Daniel Levi is keen on holding on to his superstar for as long as possible. That may see the English international stay for another year, but leave next summer for free.
