Man United have switched their attention to Elliot Anderson after failing to ink the Seagulls midfielder Carlos Baleba, as the head coach of the Red Devils wants to improve his squad. The Forest player, who is 22 years old, has become 1 of the best midfielders in the Premier League, and that secured him a place in the national team of England.
Ruben Amorim’s team has also scouted the Eagles midfielder Adam Wharton and is thinking about trying to sign Baleba again, but at the moment, the new top target for the club is Elliot.
Anderson made his debut for the Three Lions in September and already has 4 matches for England as he is viewed at the moment as a starter for Thomas Tuchel’s squad in the World Cup in North America. The German manager even praised him personally after the 2-0 victory vs. Andorra:
“Anderson is very good at playing this game,” shared Tuchel. “Elliot can do everything that is wanted from a midfielder on the pitch, and it is just a pleasure to watch him play football.”
