Man United are wanting to build a 100,000-capacity venue within the next 6 years.
The team are looking to make a final decision on whether to build a new venue or redevelop Old Trafford before the end of 2024.
The project is set to cost at least 2.6 billion dollars with the Red Devils targeting to have a stadium with a capacity of between 90,000 and 100,000 ready by 2030.
Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has admitted in the past that he would prefer to build a new venue at the same location as one of the opportunities is to use land behind the Stretford End.
Manchester United will aim to build a 100,000-seater stadium should the club press ahead with plans to move to a new Old Trafford.
The six-figure capacity is seen as a realistic number designed to future-proof the ground given high demand for tickets.

Plan are not in the final stages yet, but Manchester United officials have taken inspiration from several similar projects across the world, but particularly from SoFi Stadium in LA.
The Red Devils faced the Gunners at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood 2 days ago as part of their preseason tour in the USA, and Man United bosses have visited Los Angeles several times over the past few years.
