Ilya Samsonov stopped 27 shots for Toronto, which ended an 8-match losing streak vs. Bruins over 534 days dating to November 2022. Max Domi and John Tavares also notched for the Canadian NHL team, who haven’t eliminated Boston in a postseason matchup since 1959.

Morgan Geekie and David Pastrnak notched for the Bruins. Linus Ullmark, beginning from the 1^st minute on the ice as part of a goaltender rotation even though Jeremy Swayman triumphed in Game 1, stopped 30 shots.
