New York defeated Philadelphia to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Donte DiVincenzo scored a go-ahead 3-pointer with 13 seconds until the end of the match, and the NY Knicks won against the Philadelphia 76ers 104-101 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, to take a 2-0 lead in their 1st-round postseason matchup.

New York trailed by 5 points within the final 30 seconds, and were very close to lose the home-court advantage before the final push, beginning when Jalen Brunson scored in the crucial moment despite otherwise miserable night.

Jalen’s 3-pointer cut Philly’s lead to 2 points with 27 seconds remaining. Josh Hart stole the ball from Tyrese Maxey to get the ball back for New York, but DiVincenzo missed beyond the arc. However, Isaiah Hartenstein secured the board and passed it to OG Anunoby, who provided the ball to DiVincenzo again and this time, he didn’t miss from the 3-point line to give his team the lead.

Hartenstein then blocked Tyrese’s drive, Anunoby notched 2 free throws, and New York won after 76ers superstar Joel Embiid missed beyond the arc in the final second in an attempt to tie the match and force overtime.
