The long-awaited transfer of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid has finally become a reality. On Monday evening, Los Blancos and the French player officially announced the agreement, with Mbappe signing a five-year contract with Real Madrid.
This transfer is one of the most expensive in football history. According to the reputable publication AS, Mbappe’s net annual salary at Real Madrid will be €15 million, making him the highest-paid player at the club. Previously, the highest earner was David Alaba, with €12.5 million, followed by Vinicius Junior (€12 million), Luka Modric (€11.5 million), and Jude Bellingham (€11 million).
In addition to his salary, Mbappe will receive a personal bonus of €150 million, which will be paid in installments over the duration of his contract with Real Madrid.

A significant point of negotiation was Mbappe’s image rights. In the end, Mbappe’s team successfully negotiated these rights in his favor. From advertising deals with some of the world’s most famous brands, Mbappe is expected to earn at least €30 million annually, which is double his salary.
This means that at the end of every season with Real Madrid, the Frenchman could be pocketing around €75 million.
