AC Milan kept a clean sheet, beat Napoli 1-0 at San Siro in Milano in a ¼ final of the Champions League, and kept their hopes high before the 2nd leg.

Everything can be different because, in the 1st minute of the game, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had a golden chance to score, but with a clear path, his shot ended up in the back of Milan’s player.
Piotr Zielinski was also near to scoring for the Blues in the 12th minute, but Mike Maignan saved his shot.
Ismael Bennacer scored the only goal in the match in the bottom left corner in the 40th minute after a great pass from Rafael Leao.
Simon Kjaer almost made it 2-0 in the extra time of the 1st half after the corner, but his header hit the crossbar.
Andre Zambo Anguissa, in the 74th minute, left Napoli with 10 men on the pitch as he received his 2nd yellow card. His 1st yellow card was shown only 4 minutes earlier.
Even with one fewer player, Napoli had the best chance to score till the end of the match when in the 87th minute, Giovanni Di Lorenzo shot from the six-yard box, but the goalkeeper of the Devils saved it.

Victor Osimhen missed today’s match but is expected to be available for the 2nd leg.
The second leg will be on April 18th at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples. Before that, Napoli will face Verona in Serie A at home, while Milan will visit Bologna also in the league.
