The ex-Pro Bowler doesn’t want to compete on his almost 5 million dollar base salary for this campaign, and the NFL team is trying to find different angles if the two parties fail to reach an agreement for a new contract before the beginning of the season.
Danielle chose not to be present during the organization’s activities and required minicamp and is not training during the camp after missing the off-season program.
Minnesota’s solution to the problem isn’t necessarily new, as the organization knows that Hunter demands a trade or release if a new contract isn’t reached. The NFL team offered him a short-term deal, but Hunter wants to ink a long-term contract as he thinks that he deserves it given his skill set.
