The Canadian MLS team Montreal terminated the contract of Matko Miljevic, who played an amateur match and got involved in a scandal with a rival. The contract was terminated due to “harmful conduct” and a breach of the standard agreement that applies to every footballer.
He also used a fake name to participate in three amateur league games in an attempt to hide his decision.
“Major Soccer League conducted its own investigation and subsequently terminated midfielder Matko Miljevic’s contract with Montreal due to a breach of contract,” Major Soccer League said Tuesday.
