Wembanyama led the Spurs with an impressive stat line of 20 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks. Keldon Johnson added 19 points, accompanied by six rebounds and four assists, while Julian Champagnie and Jeremy Sochan each scored 12 points.
Morant’s highlight-reel dunk occurred with 9:11 remaining in the game, energizing the Memphis crowd. Driving down the right side of the lane, Morant cut left into the middle and dunked over the 7-foot-3 rookie from France, who leads the NBA in blocked shots.
