Andy Murray has turned back the clock as he clinched his second consecutive title in a matter of just 7 days after defeating France’s Arthur Cazaux in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 to lift the Nottingham Open on Sunday.

A week after his success in the Surbiton Trophy, Murray was on top once again, this time in the Nottingham Open.
Before this, Murray hadn’t had a silverware on grass for 7 years, but the 36-year-old majestically rediscovered his form to get back on top as he swept past his opponent.
Murray was dominant throughout the entirety of the game, as Cazaux didn’t have many chances and logically came out second best.
The Scot has now won his last 10 games on grass, dropping just one set in the process. With his success he will return to the top 40 on Monday, which will bolster his chances for the Wimbledon. His ideal goal would be to reach the top 32, as they are the seeded ones for the upcoming big event, which starts on July 3.
