Kai Havertz has agreed personal terms with Arsenal before a potential move to the Emirates, according to reports.
The 24-year-old has been a long-time target for Mikel Arteta as the Spaniard will try everything to lure him away from Chelsea.
A transfer fee has yet to be discussed between the two clubs, but the Gunners are fully confident they will be able to complete the deal after the international duty.
Havertz’ contract at Chelsea expires in 2025 and it is understood the Blues would want quite a significant fee and will not go down easily.
The 24-year-old was the hero for the London team in their 2021 CHampions League final match against Manchester City, as he bagged the sole goal, which secured the title for the Blues. A regular feature under Graham Potter, Havertz had a limited time towards the end of the season due to knee injury.
