Andy (36) ruptured ankle ligaments at the Miami Open, and it is unclear when he will return.
It was revealed today that Murray’s rehab is “going well,” and the 3-time Grand Slam champ thinks that he will begin training soon.
“The latest update from Murray is that he is now out of the walking boot and will not undergo a procedure on his ankle,” a source close to the tennis player shared with the media.
“His rehab is going according to the plan and Andy is believing to begin hitting again on court soon. At the moment, we can’t set an exact date when he will play competitive tennis again.”
Andy, who turns 37 next month, shared earlier in the season that he wants to play at another Olympic Games before he stops playing tennis.
