Fever made it official and selected Caitlin.

Iowa’s Caitlin Clark is officially part of the WNBA.

Caitlin, the most popular face of women’s college basketball ever, was picked No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA draft today in the Big Apple. The procedure happened in front of thousand supporters, who bought all the tickets within minutes of becoming available for sale.

“I got a little anxious there ahead of the draft,” Clark shared with the media after being selected 1st by Indiana. “I anticipated that to happen since I was in 2nd grade, and it’s taken a lot of hard work, a lot of ups and downs, but most importantly, never giving up in the process to fulfill my dream.”

Los Angeles picked Stanford’s Cameron Brink with the 2nd overall selection. Brink will remain in the state and will secure the WNBA team a 2-way basketballer. Chicago selected with the 3rd pick South Carolina’s Kamilla Cardoso, the past season Final Four Most Outstanding Basketballer.
