The Magpies will make the transfer permanent next summer.

Newcastle United have inked 18-year-old Chelsea defender Lewis Hall on loan until the end of the campaign and will make the transfer permanent after the end of the season.

Hall made his Premier League debut for the Blues in a 1-0 loss at Newcastle almost a year ago.

Newcastle will pay 36 million dollars + 9 million dollars in add-ons at the end of the campaign.

“To now be here at the Magpies, the team that I’ve supported since I was a kid, I’m honored and very happy to wear this shirt,” Lewis claimed.

“The whole family, including me, are Newcastle fans, and for me and my brother growing up, it was a phenomenal feeling that we supported the Magpies. It’s a massive team, and I can’t wait to help them on the pitch.”

The Chelsea academy England Under-21 international could help the Blues in the future because the London side included a sell-on clause if the Magpies decided to sell him in the future.
